Matt and Cierra- Lovebirds Ever After

This love story actually wasn’t an Austin Texas Wedding. Let’s take a journey back to Sunny California and meet this lovely couple!

This is Matt and Cierra. They are true love birds, holding such a long and extensive relationship, that still bubbles with love. I honestly have never seen a couple with so much connection, until I attended this wedding.

Part of why I love doing weddings so much is that I get to see other people in love and learn from it! This couple was definitely a great example of how to uphold love over such a long period of time.

Matt and Cierra actually started their love story in high school. They were best friends, which blossomed into a growing, forever loving, relationship. They actually dated for twelve years before they decided to tie the knot with each other.

When planning their wedding, they decided they would focus the wedding on smaller, DIY details, leaving their love for each other and family to be the center of attention. So that’s what they did! They held their wedding at Cuvaison Winery, having a small ceremony with just their friends and family. Their family and friends were not only part of their day, but part of their planning of their DIY wedding as well.

The Toasts

Matt and Cierra’s wedding was everything they ever imagined. With her dad working at the winery, they were able to keep their wedding small and intimate, even hosting their ceremony in a special place in the winery, where nobody had ever had their wedding before.

Everything about this wedding was so special. During the toasts, I could feel the love from all of their guests. This couple was definitely one for the books, as everyone talked about how they knew this day would come. Their love was so inspiring. Hearing the words of toasts, one after another, state that their love was the strongest they have ever seen, made my heart swell.

The day of the wedding was quite warm, like it would be in an Austin Texas wedding, but the couple made it work so nicely. They had fruit on the table for guests and refreshing water to keep them cool throughout the event.

Congratulations, Cierra and Matt! Your love shines so brightly, and I hope that it continues to do so forever.
