SSS Ranch

SSS Ranch (Triple S Ranch) is a magical venue hidden amongst the trees and hills in Calistoga right outside of Napa, California. This beautiful venue was almost destroyed in the 2017 Napa fire that swept through so much of the countryside. The owner of SSS Ranch somehow saved his property, and you can even see the scorched earth right at the edges of the property. Thankfully, this unique wedding venue was spared and it’s beauty remains intact!

Jessica and Nik

I was so excited to fly out to California to shoot Jess and Nik’s wedding! I met Jessica and Nik at Jessica’s sister’s wedding at Cornerstone Winery in Sonoma. I was so excited when Jessica called me to photograph her wedding as well! Jessica and Nik actually met at a bar ten years ago! Nik got Jessica’s number and the rest is history. I saw such an incredible amount of love during this wedding. It was so special to witness, and I found myself tearing up more than a few times during the ceremony and speeches.

The Big Day

Jessica and Nik had a Mehndi the evening before their wedding, which was full of henna painting, dancing, and amazing Indian food! After such an awesome party on Friday night and a full day on Saturday, I’d imagine they were pretty worn out by the end of their wedding! While Friday’s decor was bright and colorful, matching the Indian clothing worn by the guests, Saturday’s wedding was more of a muted palate, with creams and light pinks and blues. It was a stunning two-day wedding and I am so grateful to have been a part of it!
