Lifestyle Newborn Sessions

While studio newborn sessions are wonderful and produce gorgeous images, there are also a few great reasons to do an in-home newborn session!

1. Some families just prefer a more candid and documentary approach. Having your family photos taken inside your home with your newborn is perfect for that style of photography! We can include your dog and your other kids in a fun and meaningful way, utilizing rooms in the home that are meaningful, such as the nursery, the family room and even the kitchen! Which leads me to my next reason…
2. Special and meaningful rooms inside your home give your photos a really unique feel that represents your family. Maybe you have the baby’s nursery set up in a fun way and we all know how fast those babies grow up! Get some photos of your little one in the nursery before she grows out of it and you forget how you decorated it! One of my favorite things to do is to have the whole family cuddle together on the parents’ king sized bed! It makes for such a cute memory!
3. You don’t have to leave the house! This is probably the #1 reason a lot of families contact me to do a lifestyle newborn photography in their homes. After I had both my kids, the last thing I wanted to do was leave the house! When your photographer comes to you, you don’t have to get ready and pack a bag for your baby. Everything you need for your little one is at an arms reach, including diapers, a bottle, and even clothing changes.
