Lifestyle newborn photography sessions always make me smile. First, I think they’re great since they take so much pressure off! For posed sessions, the baby often needs to be asleep and inside a tightly-wrapped swaddle. For lifestyle newborn photos, the entire family can just be as they are, without worrying whether the baby is awake or asleep, fussy or active, or whether your three year old is having a tantrum. The beauty of these documentary portraits is they capture your beautiful, messy life exactly as it is and there is nothing better than that in my opinion!
I love to photograph inside your home. Photographs turn out best in areas of your house in which there is ample window light, although I do bring my own lights to help out if the inside of the home is dark. If you are worried about your home being too dark, there are always other options. We can go outside or you can come to my home studio in Dripping Springs.
I met Kristi right before the Covid-19 pandemic in March! We were able to get a maternity session in right before businesses were shut down. Although we didn’t get to photograph her sweet baby Drew when he was a newborn, we still got great photos of him as a 2 month old. Enjoy these sweet photos!
