Chelsea and Keith | Austin Hill Country Summer Wedding

I absolutely loved photographing this adorable Austin couple for their Texas hill country summer wedding in Lockhart! The day started out in the cutest Airbnb, with the girls getting ready amongst family and friends. We moved over to a local church in downtown Lockhart for a Catholic ceremony. The best part was after the ceremony and everyone throwing flowers at the bride and groom as they exited the church! I highly suggest creating fun moments like this for your wedding as it not only creates fun moments for the bride and groom and guests alike, but it also creates magical photographs for the bride and groom to enjoy for years to come!

This Texas wedding reception was held on the family farm out in Lockhart! It is always so special when Austin couples choose to hold their weddings and receptions on family properties in the hill country. The land surrounding Austin is so beautiful and it’s perfect for hosting large groups of people, where they can eat and drink and roam around and enjoy the nice summer evening air.

Since we were out on a farm, we had to take advantage of golden hour deep into the land. We took a ride out to the middle of nowhere, where you can only see hills, trees, and tall grass for miles. The bride and groom had a great time cuddling, kissing and dancing around in the fields for us as we snapped away! The golden light in you capture in these hill country weddings is an Austin wedding photographer’s dream!
