Semy + Tim | A Wimberley Wedding at Prima Vista

Prima Vista is a new Austin Hill Country wedding venue in Wimberley and it’s truly a dream venue! Not only is it beautiful and new, with elegant and modern touches, but it’s also out in the gorgeous hill country! The combination of a modern building incorporated into the surrounding oak trees and rolling hills is a nice break from the usual rustic-feel we see at so many Austin venues. The look and feel of Prima Vista is really wonderful and I have been telling brides and grooms to go check it out!

Tim and Semy have an international love story, meeting and dating abroad, and finally settling down outside Austin for the long-term! This couple was so fun to photograph, having been all over the world with such diverse experiences. One of my favorite things about being an Austin wedding photographer is getting to meet so many people from all backgrounds and histories.

The day started out with thunderstorms in the near distance, which is pretty typical for Austin weather! Luckily the storm rolled past and missed us and we had a great day with perfect weather. The ceremony at Prima Vista is enveloped in old oak trees and a beautiful wooden backdrop in which florists can decorate. The sun sets behind the ceremony site which makes it the perfect spot for an evening ceremony! There is also an outdoor deck, great for cocktail hour, and an air-conditioned interior for receptions.
